S&S Worldwide, Inc is seeking a full-time Controls Technician Supervisor to provide technical direction for building electrical control panels in accordance with NEC, UL508A, and local codes. You will lead a small team, plan resources, and ensure quality on the shop floor.

The role requires completing an accredited electrical apprentice program, wiring proficiency, and strong organizational skills. Leadership experience is preferred; you will oversee panel builds and maintenance, and collaborate

to provide support to the Engineering department.

Controls Technician Supervisor

Job Summary:

A Controls Technician Supervisor provides technical direction and team resource planning for the building of electrical control panels in accordance with governing standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedules team tasks and adjusts priority(s) as needed to conform to the master schedule and deadlines
• Corresponds with the Production Manager for high level resource planning and scheduling
• Maintains UL508A panel shop through current conformance to codes, standards, and best practices
• Ensure the build of industrial control panels are in accordance with the current version of applicable electrical codes including:
  1. NEC or local codes
  2. UL508A: Industrial Control Panels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational ability and proven attention to detail
• Troubleshoot and correct programming bugs during factory acceptance and quality checks
• Ability to work independently or with a team on electrical system designs
• Maintain current journeyman or master electrical license
• Oversee building electrical maintenance
• Other duties as assigned
