S&S Worldwide, Inc., the leading manufacturer of roller coasters and thrill rides, is seeking a full-time Controls Technician Supervisor to support the Engineering department.

The role provides technical direction for building electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with NEC, UL508A, and local codes, while leading a team in a busy panel shop environment. The position requires strong leadership and hands-on electrical expertise.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited electrical apprentice program.
• Wiring proficiency building panels.
• Organizational ability and proven attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedules team tasks and adjusts priority(s) to meet master schedule and deadlines.
• Corresponds with Production Manager for resource planning and scheduling.
• Maintains UL508A panel shop in current conformance to codes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure the build of industrial control panels conforms to NEC/local codes and UL508A requirements.
• Troubleshoot and correct programming issues during factory acceptance and quality checks.
• Oversee building electrical maintenance and work independently or with a team on electrical system designs.

Controls Technician Supervisor

Job Summary:

A Controls Technician Supervisor provides technical direction and team resource planning for the building of electrical control panels in accordance with governing standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedules team tasks and adjusts priority(s) as needed to conform to the master schedule and deadlines
• Corresponds with the Production Manager for high level resource planning and scheduling
• Maintains UL508A panel shop through current conformance to codes, standards, and best practices
• Ensure the build of industrial control panels are in accordance with the current version of applicable electrical codes including:
• NEC or local codes
• UL508A: Industrial Control Panels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational ability and proven attention to detail
• Troubleshoot and correct programming bugs during factory acceptance and quality checks
• Ability to work independently or with a team on electrical system designs
• Maintain current journeyman or master electrical license
• Oversee building electrical maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
