Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Hebron, Ohio is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to repair and maintain complex machinery, including motors, conveyors, and vision systems.

You will program Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and vision systems while supporting plant operations and networking. The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent (strongly preferred), plus 5+ years of electrical and mechanical experience and at least 3 years of PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of PLC programming and troubleshooting ladder logic.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot & problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, vision systems, production equipment, and plant support machines.

You Will

Use your knowledge of RS Logix 500, 5000, computer networking, HMI, and robotics to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, vision systems, production equipment, and plant support machines

Program Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems, and networking

You Have

Associate's Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent is strongly preferred

Minimum of 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.

Minimum of 3 years of PLC programming and troubleshooting ladder logic

Strong ability to troubleshoot & problem solve

Physical requirement includes the ability to lift & move up to 75 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
