Job summary

The Brazos River Authority invites applications for a Controls Technician at the Central Office. The role includes installing and maintaining electrical control systems, instrumentation, telemetry, and SCADA components across reservoirs, pumps, and treatment facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and good driving record.
• Preferred: ISA Certification, Journeyman Electrician License, Water/Wastewater License, knowledge of NEC and federal regs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and modify industrial electrical control systems.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation problems and time-critical outages at facilities.
• Program PLCs and develop HMIs; create AutoCAD drawings for new electrical systems.
