Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of industrial controls, automation, instrumentation, or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG/high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting capability with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, actuators, instrumentation, motor controls, electrical controls, and machine safety circuits.
• Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley/Rockwell platforms, including Studio 5000/RSLogix, FactoryTalk, PanelView HMIs, ControlLogix/CompactLogix, drives, and related automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, SCADA, remote I/O, and machine control for stable production.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC logic, instrumentation, sensor, actuator, safety circuit, communication, and HMI faults quickly to reduce downtime.
• Maintain backups of automation programs, HMI apps, drive parameters, and critical controls documentation.
• Execute changes per change management, validation, documentation, and communication procedures.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, pH, conductivity, etc.).
• Support OT systems, industrial networks, PLC/HMI communications, switches, manufacturing PCs, and data systems.
• Lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement to reduce equipment failures and improve performance.
• Ensure safety/compliance and maintain records of controls changes and actions.
• Collaborate with contractors, OEMs, operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT.
