Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a motivated Controls Technician to join our production facilities in Fredericksburg, PA. You will support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems, with opportunities to grow into PLC troubleshooting and automation roles.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, wiring, PLC/HMI tasks, and PMs on automated equipment. You will work independently and with a team to improve processes while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical systems and production equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and basic PLC/HMI tasks.
• Familiarity with automated machinery and mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Ability to work under pressure and diagnose issues quickly and safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical/electronic components of production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits; read ladder logic and follow instructions.
• Connect to PLCs, read ladder logic, and perform basic PLC/HMI programming.
• Set up and troubleshoot VFDs, servo systems, and temperature control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automated equipment and complete work orders.
