Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Controls Technician to support deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical control systems in large-scale data centers. The role covers BMS, BAS and EPMS platforms responsible for cooling, environmental and power infrastructure.

You will configure controllers, support commissioning, troubleshoot networks, and maintain documentation while adhering to safety and change management procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Controls, Building Automation, HVAC or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and networking fundamentals.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and docs.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with controllers, sensors, relays and networks.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools like multimeters and network testers.

• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting experience with controllers, sensors, relays, and communication networks.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and network testing equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BMS/BAS/EPMS platforms.
• Previous Data Center or Critical Facilities experience.
• Low‑voltage copper and fiber infrastructure experience.
• ISA CCST certification or military technical background in electronics, HVAC, controls, instrumentation, or power systems.
