About the Role

The Controls Technician II will be involved in building automation, energy management controls, and HVAC system optimization. With at least 3 years of experience, you will perform startups, commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform startups, commissioning, and programming for HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve control system issues.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and maintain project schedules.
• Support project closeouts and documentation.
• Provide weekly project updates.
• Assist in job cost evaluations and projections.
• Attend project reviews and meetings.
• Uphold safety standards and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC controls and building automation experience.
• Proficiency in controls programming (e.g., BACnet).
• Knowledge of Niagara AX or N4 preferred; certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage startups and commissioning independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and meeting deadlines.
