Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Controls Technician to support control systems for data centers and infrastructure. You will work hands-on with BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial controls to ensure reliable cooling, power distribution, and safety systems.

You will collaborate with engineers to monitor performance and respond to operational needs in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree in a technical field and 3+ years of experience with industrial control

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with industrial control systems.
Experience with Ignition SCADA or similar programming and Siemens TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing and modifying BMS/EPMS/SCADA in data centers.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chillers, pumps, and power systems using PLCs.
Support updating HMI graphics and interfaces for system monitoring.
Maintain automated controls for safety and emergency shutdown procedures.
Monitor metrics like PUE and infrastructure performance via dashboards.
Coordinate with teams to respond to grid events and adjust systems as needed.
