Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with BMS/BAS or HVAC systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Background in controls engineering, automation, or SCADA.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, or industrial control systems.
• Experience with PLC programming or HMI/SCADA platforms.
• Familiarity with control logic and sequences of operation.

This role focuses on controls upgrades, troubleshooting, and commissioning support across complex BMS and EPMS systems, working in high-performance environments where reliability and uptime are critical. Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex BMS and EPMS system issues
• Supporting controls upgrades and system improvements
• Working alongside project teams during commissioning and functional testing
• Developing and modifying control logic from sequences of operation
• Acting as a technical resource for field teams and project stakeholders
• Supporting startup, validation, and system optimisation activities
• Participating in service work, maintenance, and on-call support as needed

Required Skills

• Experience with BMS, BAS, or HVAC systems
• Background in controls engineering, automation, or SCADA
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, or industrial control systems
• Experience with HVAC controls, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA platforms, or building automation systems
• Understanding of control logic and sequences of operation
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, or field troubleshooting
• Exposure to platforms such as Ignition, Niagara, Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider is beneficial.

Pay range and compensation package

Pay range from $35/hr - $50/hr
