Job summary

Coke Florida is seeking a Controls Technician based in Hollywood to support production lines with maintenance and change-overs. You will troubleshoot, overhaul and install equipment, with OEM training, and ensure a safe, clean work environment while meeting production schedules.

The shift is 6:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday, at the Hollywood facility. This role requires basic electrical/mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, and the discipline to follow safety protocols and SOPs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in a high-speed industrial environment.
• Able to read and follow manufacturers' specifications and schematics.
• Must supply hand tools.
• Mechatronics/engineering education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance on production lines.
• Assist with overhaul and installation of new equipment with OEM training.
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts as needed.
• Generate parts requests and complete work orders; maintain clean, safe work area.

Coke Florida is looking for a Controls Technician based out of our Hollywood location. We’re currently looking for 6:00am-5:00pm shift, working Monday - Friday.

What You Will Do:

As a Coke Florida Controls Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over. Controls Technician will assist with the overhaul and install new equipmentwith initial OEM training and the end goal to perform most tasks \"in-house\".

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over


• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment


• Overhaul and install new equipment


• Rebuild and fabricate parts


• Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area


• Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory


• Generate and complete work orders as assigned


• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups

For this role, you will need:

• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience


• Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment


• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude


• Basic computer skills


• Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and schematics


• Required to supply hand tools

Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:

• EET/MET or Mechatronics degree preferred


• 5+ years of mechanical/electrical experience highly preferred


• Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred


• Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge highly preferred


• Mill and Lathe experience is preferred


• TPM maintenance knowledge and abilities preferred


• SAP experience preferred


• Previous Front-Line Leadership preferred
