Qualifications

  • AAS degree or related technical discipline; mechanical/manufacturing engineering preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications; strong technical communication.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control manufacturing processes (injection molding, welding, extrusion) to meet quality standards.
  • Quality checks and collaboration with QC teams to implement improvements.
  • Implement and validate PLC changes; optimize processes with engineering and maintenance.
  • Conduct training sessions; work with tools and ensure safety compliance.
  • Perform data analysis; communicate issues to production and management.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment with maintenance teams.

# Controls TechnicianOPTIMIZED LOGISTICS LLC - DALLAS, TX 75212## OverviewJob ShiftDay## DescriptionJob Summary: A Controls Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Responsible for ensuring that the approved process design and standards for Plastics Manufacturing are implemented and sustained.Job Duties & Responsibilities:1. Process Monitoring:* Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure they are running efficiently and meet quality standards. These include injection molding, vibratory welding cell and extrusion line.* Good understanding of Allen-Bradley PLC system software and hardware* Working with and understanding of Allen-Bradley HMI systems* Conduct regular inspections and checks to identify deviations from established parameters and take corrective actions.2. Quality Assurance:* Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.* Collaborate with quality control teams to implement corrective actions and improvements.* Skilled in reading electrical prints* Thorough understanding of the process of trouble shooting issues3. Process Optimization:* Knowledge of making PLC changes or looking at various parts of the program.* Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement validated process changes.4. Training and Development:* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.* Will work with hand tools – primarily electrical* Must have e a good understanding of electrical and controls systems pertaining to our production environment.* Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.* Share expertise with colleagues and contribute to the development of the team.5.
