Job summary

Nutek Disposables Company in McElhattan, PA is seeking a Controls Technician for a 12-hour overnight role (6:45 pm–7:00 am) on a 2-week rotating schedule. You will troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and automation systems to ensure high reliability and safe operation.

Requirements include a high school diploma with an associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Robotics and Automation, or related fields, plus 1–3 years of industrial controls experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with associate’s degree in related disciplines.
• 1-3 years of Industrial Controls experience (preferred).
• Familiar with NEC and standard wiring practices.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and using electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains, and installs PLCs, HMIs, process instrumentation, machine control systems, VFDs, servo drives, machine vision, robotics, power distribution (<600V) and networking.
• Interface with PLC/HMI programs to diagnose equipment issues.
• Read and use electrical schematics and test equipment to diagnose issues.
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance to maintain like-new equipment condition.
• Collaborate with production and support teams to resolve problems; participate in equipment installations.
