Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years as a Controls Technician.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, HMI systems, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Diagnose electrical, controls, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and control systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and automation equipment.
• Install, wire, test, and commission electrical control panels, sensors, motors, and instrumentation devices.
• Support automation upgrades, equipment installations, and capital improvement projects.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical documentation.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and complete work orders using CMMS.
