Job summary
ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc is seeking a Controls System Software Engineer in the Philadelphia area. You will develop and commission software for Comecer equipment, focusing on PLC/HMI using Siemens, Rockwell and other controls platforms, and support FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ during installations across Radiopharma, Pharma and ATMP projects.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, at least three years of controls software experience, and willingness to travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
- At least three years in controls engineering software.
- Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
- Knowledge of PLC development environments and SCADA/HMI tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project technical specifications and monitor objectives.
- Develop software according to specifications and project Gantt chart.
- Supervise the team and contribute to network architecture decisions.
- Support FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, and PQ activities for installations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
