Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to perform validation and testing of machine control systems.

The role involves collecting and analyzing performance data, troubleshooting CAN, Ethernet, and control networks, and supporting software flashing, calibration, and system integration in field and lab settings. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1+ years of experience in controls testing, and familiarity with heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 1+ year of experience in Controls Engineering, Validation, or Testing.
• Experience with machine controls, CAN communication, and Ethernet networks.
• Familiarity with software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
• Experience with data collection, troubleshooting, and validation testing.
• Exposure to heavy equipment, automotive, or off-highway machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine controls validation and testing.
• Collect, analyze, and report machine performance data.
• Troubleshoot control systems, CAN, and Ethernet communication issues.
• Support software flashing, calibration, and system integration activities.
• Conduct field testing on heavy/off-highway equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve machine performance.
