Job summary

The role focuses on designing and implementing control systems within budgets and schedules, including PLC, HMI, robotics, motion and vision. You will develop specifications, procure components, program, test, and startup systems, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Electrical design and project management experience on small to medium projects.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, robotics, motion and vision systems.
• Ability to lead engineers and designers on medium-sized projects.
• Familiar with vendor and customer relations to secure future work.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems within budgets and schedules.
• Develop specs, procurement, schematics, layouts, programming, testing, startup.
• Approve control system designs and customer acceptance tests.
• Plan to meet margins and develop applications for PLC/HMI/process/vision/robotic systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with vendors and use ABCO systems (Syteline).
