Job summary

Intertek USA in York, PA seeks a Controls Systems Engineer to develop and program control systems for testing equipment. The role includes troubleshooting, equipment design support, and project management for new and existing lab assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in an engineering field preferred.
• PLC programming coursework and/or experience.
• Ability to produce electrical drawings (AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to identify the system components and develop the design and functional specifications automation systems
• Troubleshoot hardware and process issues
• Assist in the designing and pricing of new equipment
• Work with other team members throughout the design and fabrication process
• Assist in installation of wiring and control devices as required
• Create detailed equipment specifications/documents to guide development/ programming/ use
• Provide excellent customer service and project management
• Follow and enforce all safety requirements and company policies
