Job Description

Provides technical support for controls systems design, specifications, programming, simulation, testing, and startup assistance. Performs analysis and support on assigned projects, including improving operating performance through new and revised production methods, tooling, equipment selection, and implementation.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform duties of Electrical Mechanical Technician as needed.
2. Follow safety procedures while performing building and electrical equipment functions, including diagnosing malfunctions, installation, and maintenance of systems.
3. Interpret verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
4. Design, build, program, diagnose, and document electronic control systems.
5. Operate maintenance machinery and tools, such as welders, drill presses, and testing equipment.
6. Complete required paperwork, including job cards and inspection reports.
7. Perform other duties within the maintenance department, including emergency repairs and working outside regular hours.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
9. Ensure safety and quality standards are met, complying with company policies.
10. Perform lead responsibilities as assigned.
11. Participate in project work, including design, specification, and installation.
12. Develop safe work procedures and plant installation standards.
13. Improve preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
14. Train other maintenance personnel.
15. Organize and implement maintenance projects.
16. Utilize CMMS to manage department projects.
17. Collaborate with engineering on project development and completion.
