Job summary

New-Leader-Manufacturing in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Controls Specialist to support controls systems on released products, troubleshoot field issues, and coordinate software updates. The role acts as first responder for controls problems across production, field, and service environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams, support production test stands, read wiring diagrams and control logic, and drive issues through to resolution while maintaining safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic control issues in field and production environments.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and control logic.
• Experience coordinating with software vendors to implement updates.
• Ability to document issues and solutions for knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary responder for electrical and hydraulic controls issues in field and production, diagnosing problems and driving timely resolution.
• Provide controls support to sales, service, and customers, including field visits as required.
• Coordinate and implement controls system updates for released products with internal teams and external partners.
• Support production test stands and troubleshooting activities to ensure reliable operation.
