Job summary

Lancesoft in Ackerman, MS is seeking a Controls Specialist 1 to support and transition between multiple projects, check cables and wiring in the field, and assist in site walk downs.

You will prepare cost estimates, support startup activities, and develop layouts and conceptual designs using platforms such as Ovation, Foxboro, ABB, or PLC, collaborating with plant staff, design engineers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of related field experience.
• Strong electrical knowledge and computer-based platform skills.
• Experience with Ovation, Foxboro, ABB, or PLC platforms.
• Experience with field support, control narratives and markup.
• Experience with cable/wiring checks in the field and IO lists.

Title: Controls Specialist 1 Location: Ackerman, MS, 39735 Duration: 03 Months(Possible Extension) Pay Rate: $38-$40/hr on W2 Job Description: The Controls Specialist 1 position requires 0-5 Years Experience in a related field. Job responsibilities include: Supporting and transitioning between multiple projects, checking cables, and wiring in the field, performing and assisting in site walk downs. Preparing cost estimates, supporting start up, prepare layouts and conceptual designs. Skillsets and expertise: Required for this position include proficiency in computer-based platforms, solid Electrical knowledge, configuration /graphic skills in one or more platforms: Ovation, Foxboro, ABB, or PLC, experience with field support, Experience with control narrative and markup, experience with checking cables and wiring in the field Expedience with cost estimating in sub disciplines, experience developing IO lists, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
