Join GALLO as a Controls Specialist and help shape the future of our operational technology. In this cross-functional role, you will design, program, deploy, and improve the controls systems that support safe, reliable, efficient operations. You will bring curiosity, sound technical judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset to opportunities that increase throughput, reduce costs, strengthen security, and advance our technology capabilities.
You will support the full project lifecycle—from electrical design, panel construction, machine installation, PLC programming, HMI design, and system start-up through validation and long-term improvement. You will help implement reliable controls platforms and networks that align with GALLO standards for OT security, access, and obsolescence management. Your work may include developing electrical schematics, defining project scope and budgets, testing emerging technologies, conducting feasibility experiments, and translating technical and cost data into clear recommendations.
Collaboration is central to this role. You will partner with internal customers, vendors, engineering teams, operations, and leaders to clarify functional requirements, evaluate solutions, communicate project status, and remove roadblocks. You will develop proposals and presentations that connect technical solutions to business benefits, resource needs, timelines, and critical project requirements.
We welcome people with diverse experiences and perspectives who enjoy solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and making practical improvements. You will use Lean Six Sigma principles—including PDCA, standard work, and Kaizen—to improve flow and performance while supporting GFMP, quality, environmental, safety, and regulatory expectations.
If you are energized by hands-on technical work, end-to-end systems thinking, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the business, we encourage you to apply.
We are committed to providing competitive compensation, perks, and a culture that supports your well-being. Benefits depend on your work category and may include medical and dental coverage, 401k plans, profit sharing, pet insurance, company holidays, access to an employee wine shop, and more! Additional information will be provided before your first interview.
