A controls software engineering role is currently available in Indianapolis, Indiana. To be considered for this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similarly related Engineering plus more than 3 years of experience as a software engineer.
The selected individual has the opportunity to participate in the full life cycle development of flight critical embedded software for airborne vehicles (fixed wing, rotary wing, space and/or unmanned systems). In each of these markets, customers expect and demand the delivery of high-quality work products throughout the life cycle to achieve regulatory approval using structured and regulatory approval driven processes.
The platforms we support are the 'flagships' for the future of airborne platforms. The embedded software engineer works with a multi-faceted team that executes the full life cycle software developments - requirements development, requirements management, design, code, test, integration and validation and verification related activities.
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $80k to $115k. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
