Job Description: Senior Software Engineer - FINEOS

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement innovative AI, ML, and data platform products. You will collaborate with Engineers and Architects to deliver data engineering capabilities, integrating AI and ML data products into the core AdminSuite platform. Proficiency in Python, microservices, and data engineering within a native AWS stack is essential.

Responsibilities

1. Product engineering delivery: Translate high-level designs into components for end-to-end solutions. Code and review peers' code to ensure quality, efficient data structures, and best practices.
2. Product deployment: Utilize AWS DevOps automation to manage CICD pipelines, testing, version control, and environment promotion strategies.
3. Product maintenance: Manage existing AI and ML data products, ensuring updates to AWS components for current and market-ready products.

Qualifications

Experience: Over seven years of Python development, deploying cloud-based applications and services, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

Skills and Abilities

• Building microservices and serverless event-driven applications.
• Managing large data volumes in object storage and databases.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
• Using monitoring and logging tools for performance and error tracking.
• Securing AWS resources and data following best practices.
• Collaborating with large, cross-geography teams.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Python frameworks/libraries such as Flask, Django, Pandas, NumPy.
• Working with NoSQL databases for high-speed data storage.
• Operationalizing ML models or building GenAI applications using Textract, Sagemaker, Bedrock.

Additional Information

Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbal and written.

Travel Requirements: No travel required; international travel may be necessary for some roles.
