Trillium Staffing is seeking a Controls Software Design Engineer in the Polaris area. The role focuses on designing, coding and structuring PLC, HMI, and PC-based programs using Siemens platforms, with responsibilities including software validations, dry runs and field commissions.
The position begins as a contract-to-hire opportunity, with potential transition to a permanent role and some international travel. Pay ranges between $57 and $63 per hour.
Competenze
- 5+ years hands-on experience in industrial automation.
- 3+ years hands-on experience programming and designing logic from scratch.
- Strong proficiency with Siemens platforms (TIA Portal, S7-1500).

- Design, code and structure PLC, HMI and PC-based programs from scratch according to project specs.
- Develop Software Design Specifications, functional testing verification documents and operations manuals.
- Perform internal software validations, dry runs, and field commissions as needed.

The Controls Software Engineer will design, code and structure PLC, HMI and PC-based programs from scratch according to custom project specifications. This will focus on Siemens platforms and could include internal software validations, dry runs, field commissions as well as developing clear Software Design Specifications, functional testing verification documents and operations manuals.
This will begin as a contract to hire opportunity and could transition into a permanent position where some international travel will be required.
Pay range will be $57-$63/hr.
