SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ partners with a leading hyperscale data centre operator to recruit a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in BMS and controls for global operations. The role focuses on reliability, efficiency, and technical excellence within critical environments.

The SME will lead BMS/controls design input, support design reviews, commissioning, incident response, and mentor site teams while advancing sustainability and next-generation technologies

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in data centre operations or controls engineering within critical environments.
• Experience with ALC WebCTRL.
• Strong background in BMS / Controls (or mechanical/electrical systems).
• Deep understanding of critical infrastructure lifecycle.
• Experience with drawings, specifications, and system sequences of operation.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and performance optimisation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Act as a technical SME across BMS / controls systems within mission-critical environments
