YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a qualified HVAC Control Systems Technician to manage the service and repair, design, and configuration of complex HVAC systems. This role requires a minimum of five years in programming and commissioning control systems, with a proficiency in LON.

What you will do:
Under general direction, responsible for the service & repair, design, configuration, and operation of complete HVAC building control systems and related low‑voltage control subsystems (lighting, nurse call, data networks, etc.) to meet customer intent and JCI goals. Accountable for quality, timeliness and efficiency of service & repair and designs. Develop complex software programs, commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation of the building control system. Provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, sales and service teams and subcontractors. Must be proficient with LON.
How you will do it:
Design, configure and service technically complex building control systems. Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts and electrical schematics. Develop and test software programs. Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals. Select, order and track delivery of materials. Assist in loading and commissioning of all system and network‑level controllers. Assist in validation of system functionality and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors and other trades. Provide field change information for as‑built drawings and software. Keep management and contractors informed of job progress. Assist in performing site‑specific training. Participate in release meetings. Perform value engineering. Provide direction to junior technicians. Adhere to safety standards.
Required minimum of five years of experience with programming, installing and/or commissioning controls systems including system‑level controllers. Must be proficient with LON.
Additional qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of construction, mechanical, electrical or HVAC service industry.
Knowledge of mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other subsystems.
Experience integrating low‑voltage building subsystems using Modbus, LON, BACnet, etc.
Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non‑technical audience.
Advanced computer skills, especially drafting tools such as Visio.
Preferred bachelor's degree in engineering or associate degree plus seven years of relevant experience.
Understanding of IP networking for building automation.
Hourly range: $36.53–$48.00. The posted salary reflects the target compensation for this role. Exceptional candidates with unique skills may exceed the typical profile.
