Job summary

DynaTen Corporation, a Comfort Systems USA Company, seeks a Controls Technician II - Service to independently troubleshoot, repair, and optimize building automation systems across client sites. You will work with sensors, controllers, networking devices, and field devices, ensuring secure, reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include commissioning activities, documentation, and collaboration with IT, engineers, and field staff to resolve complex issues and deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial building automation or HVAC controls.
• Ability to read control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation.
• Ability to use digital meters, laptops, controls software, and mobile documentation tools.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and optimize building automation systems and related field devices.
• Review and modify control programs, databases, graphics, and controller applications as required.
• Install, configure, test, and document controllers, sensors, actuators, and network devices per standards.
• Perform controller setup, point-to-point checkout, calibration, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with customers, operators, electricians, engineers, and project leadership for successful operation.
• Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and turnover documentation.
