Job summary

TalentCompass is seeking a Controls SCADA Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support SCADA and PLC-based control systems for industrial material‑handling projects. You will work with controls engineering and project teams to deliver visualization and automation solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and support projects from design to production.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver SCADA, HMI, visualization, and PLC-based control solutions for industrial automation and material‑handling systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize control systems, software, connectivity, Linux environments, and virtual machine infrastructure to ensure reliable system performance.
• Lead system testing and deployment through emulation, commissioning, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of installed systems.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver projects from design through production, while providing technical guidance, training, and knowledge sharing to colleagues and customers.
• Drive technical excellence through clear documentation, system standards, and responsive customer support, with travel to domestic and international project sites as required.
