Job summary

Opportunity Group, Inc. seeks Controls Engineers for permanent roles across Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo areas. Positions range from entry-level to leadership, with diverse projects in controls automation.

Responsibilities include designing and programming PLC and HMI software, debugging automation equipment, robotics, and vision systems, plus start-up support. Requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, and AB/Siemens experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associate's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
• Experience programming PLCs and HMIs.
• Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred.
• Experience with programming and integrating robotics, vision systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
• SCADA, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical experience also a plus.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.

Seeking Controls Engineers with PLC programming, troubleshooting and/or Controls Design experience for several permanent positions currently available in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo areas. All these permanent positions offer a variety of exciting projects in the controls automation industry for reputable and growing companies. Opportunities range from entry-level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles. Most jobs require minimal travel.

Compensation and Benefits for the Controls Engineer positions:

• $70,000.00 to $140,000.00 / year depending on experience level
