Job summary

OTTO Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer - Controls in Illinois. You will lead cross-functional teams from concept through production on mission-critical control system projects for medical, off-highway, and military markets.

This role requires a BS in engineering and at least five years of project management experience. Expect a base salary range of $80,000 to $105,000, with profit sharing and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (ME, EE, or General) required.
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and planning skills; hands-on engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop product requirements, schedules, and milestones meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinate internal resources and vendors for project execution.
• Maintain NRE hours, tooling costs, part costs, and test costs.
• Lead weekly project meetings and present monthly reviews to senior management.
