Qualifications

• 3+ years in BAS programming or controls technician roles.
• Proficiency with line programming using Reliable Controls, Schneider Electric, or Delta.
• Solid understanding of BACnet protocols and device communication.
• Knowledge of commissioning practices and BAS integration workflows.
• Comfortable working independently in the field and remotely with project teams.

Responsibilities

A leading building automation contractor is seeking an experienced Controls Programmer (Level II or III) to support expanding project demand across the Austin metro. This role is ideal for a hands‑on BAS professional who wants a true hybrid schedule—balancing remote programming work (60%) with field commissioning and system support.

You will take the lead on municipal, education, and commercial projects, developing programs from the ground up, building user interface graphics, and troubleshooting a wide range of BAS platforms used across schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.

• Location: Austin, TX (60% Remote, 40% On‑Site)
• Schedule: Full‑Time
• Territory: Greater Austin area (rare travel outside the region)

What You'll Do:
