Job summary

Havel is seeking a Programmer to lead installation, hardware design, and software programming for Building Automation projects (BMS / BAS), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

You will work with EcoStruxure and Tridium Niagara, perform commissioning, and communicate design details to customers and subcontractors while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programming with EcoStruxure, Tridium Niagara, and building operations (EBO).
• Experience with digital HVAC controls systems for Building Automation (BMS/BAS).
• Capacity to communicate with non-technical audiences and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation hardware design and software programming to established standards.
• Provide detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers and subcontractors.
• Conduct graphics building and wiring checks for HVAC control systems.
• Perform loading, device verification, and commissioning of system controllers.
• Document processes for Building Management Direct Digital Control systems.
• Deliver site training for owner/operators and develop contractor relationships.
• Attend job progress meetings and adhere to safety standards.

Job Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as required
• Provide detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers and subcontractors
• Responsible for graphics building
• Check out of HVAC control systems and wiring
• Complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required
• Document processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems
• Perform site‑specific training for owner/operator on the total system in full with assistance
• Develop long‑term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Attend job progress meetings as required
• Adhere to safety standards
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programming with EcoStruxure, Tridium Niagara, and building operations (EBO)
• Must have relevant technical hands on systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems for Building Automation projects (BMS / BAS)
• Strong customer and communication skills to a non‑technical audience
• Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must work in a team environment
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
