Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Controls Field Engineer to lead PLC, HMI, SCADA projects from Indianapolis, IN with frequent travel to St. Louis, MO and Grand Rapids, MI. BS in Engineering required; 0–2+ years experience in controls is preferred. Role includes design, testing, commissioning and customer collaboration.

Travel about 80% with a rotation pattern of on-site and at-home days. AutoCAD Electrical and MS Office skills are valued, as is hands-on mechanical capability.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 0-2+ years’ experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and panel design.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.

• Conduct full scope of controls projects involving PLC/HMI or other technologies.
• Work within a team environment of project deliverables.
• Learn new technologies via in-house or external training.
• Develop processes to help support team growth.
