Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a member of Compass Group, is hiring a full-time Control Engineering Technician for the University of Kentucky, Lexington. You will work under supervision to support BAS, HVAC controls, and field devices across campus.

Ideal candidates have prior controls/BAS experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills. Excellent growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior controls and BAS experience required.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply practical skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, MS).

Responsibilities

• Learns and performs tasks under guidance of senior staff.
• Supports BAS field devices, sensors, actuators, controllers.
• Assists in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of BAS.
• Communicates with facilities staff and vendors to resolve issues.
