Job summary

IPTE, LLC is seeking an experienced Controls Engineering Project Leader to oversee the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of control systems for diverse industrial automation and manufacturing applications. Based in Alpharetta, GA, the role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in electrical engineering or electro-mechanics, at least ten years of controls automation experience, and a CPA

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering/electro-mechanics or similar.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or a related field, with demonstrated project management experience.
• Professional certification (e.g., Certified Automation Professional) preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineering Project leader to Lead and manage controls engineering projects from inception to completion. Oversee the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of control systems for various industrial automation and manufacturing applications, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Competence

Be orderly, organized, results-oriented, quickly responsive, and able to coordinate work. Must handle advanced technology tools (spreadsheets, worksheets, etc.). Be competent, based on appropriate education, training, or experience in overall performance.

• Strong technical expertise in control system design, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, and industrial automation technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as MS Project or Agile.

Location

This position is based in Alpharetta, GA, USA, with travel throughout the North American region as required.
