Job summary

Pyramid, a Duravant Company, is a leading provider of warehouse automation and control systems. The Controls Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers responsible for design, development, implementation, and support of material handling automation systems.

The role oversees resource allocation, project timelines, budgets, and technical standards, while mentoring staff and ensuring safety and regulatory requirements are met. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 6+ years of progressive industrial controls or automation engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a direct leadership role.
• High proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Experience with PLCs' - Ladder Logic.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent engineering projects and allocate resources.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff to meet timelines and budgets.
• Approve proposals, expenditures, and enforce policy.
• Oversee documentation standards and design reviews.
• Engage with executives to discuss technical focus and strategy.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across projects.
