Job summary

Lincoln Electric’s Automation manufacturing facility in Plymouth, MI, is seeking engineering interns to design PLC software and HMIs for industrial automation equipment, and support documentation and project deliverables. Gain hands-on experience in controls engineering within a leading manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full‑time, permanent basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design PLC software and HMIs for industrial automation equipment
• Debug and troubleshoot PLC software
• Maintain task lists and reports of open items
• Maintain project design documentation and prepare customer deliverables
• Ensure the controls engineering process is tracked and followed
