Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking motivated engineering students for Summer 2027 internships across our U.S. manufacturing plants. Opportunities exist in multiple states, with relocation assistance for moves of 50 miles or more.

This paid internship pays $22.00 per hour and includes access to our Internship Program featuring executive speakers, networking events and professional development. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a food manufacturing environment, working with engineers on projects

Qualifications

• Sophomore or higher status toward a BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical preferred).
• Enrollment as a student during the internship.
• Willingness to relocate for Summer 2027.
• Available for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027 and 40 hours/week.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Design, programming and testing of automated controls systems.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs and robotics to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate on projects involving system integration and optimization.
