Job summary

The Bradbury Co., Inc. in Moundridge, KS offers a Summer 2027 internship in the Controls Engineering Department, with hands-on work on startup, programming, and electrical design teams under supervision.

Interns will set up EthernetIP communications, install PLC programs, tune motion controls, and develop HMI interfaces with C# on Windows, while learning SQL data imports/exports and production data workflows.

Qualifications

• Currently working towards an associate degree in Automation Engineering Technology or related field.
• Or currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Internship in Controls Engineering Department with supervision and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Set up EthernetIP communications on Rockwell based control components.
• Install PLC programming onto machines and perform basic PLC debugging.
• Tune motion control systems including servo motors and VFDs.
• Install and setup HMI terminals and interface applications.
• Show programs in C# in a Windows environment and develop operator interfaces.
• Explain PLC logic and data flows using RSLogix/Studio.
