Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Controls Engineer to join the Customer Service Modernizations & Upgrades group. You will translate contractual technical requirements into deliverables, design schematics and control panels, and lead commissioning of complex automated systems.

Expect up to 40% travel to customer sites in the United States, with a focus on quality and timely delivery. Ideal candidates have a BS/BA in electrical engineering, 5+ years in related roles, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Rockwell

Qualifications

BS/BA in electrical engineering or closely related field.
5+ years of successful experience in related field.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Rockwell PLCs hardware/software.
Knowledgeable on AC drives and Ethernet IP network design.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Translate project contractual technical requirements into deliverables for engineering teams.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and engineering practices.
Lead issue resolution to prevent project delays.
Deliver work packages on time and within budget.
Act as main contact for project management and cross-functional teams.
Prepare project status reports and financial forecasts.
Document risks and support risk mitigation.
Complete schematic and control panel designs and commissioning.
