Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Controls Engineer III to design, commission, and upgrade control systems for high-rate solid rocket motor production equipment at our McHenry, MS plant. You will write Siemens PLC code and ensure maintainability for high-volume manufacturing, following internal standards for safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, CS, ME, or EE.
• 2+ years of production controls/automation experience.
• Proficient in Siemens PLC programming (Ladder & Structured Text).
• Servo drives and VFD configuration with PID tuning.
• Knowledge of ProfiNET/ProfiSAFE/Ethernet IP.
• SCADA & OT Networking experience.
• Risk assessments and safety design experience.
• NFPA70e electrical safety practices.
• U.S. Person for access control information.

Responsibilities

• Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for Solid Rocket Motor production equipment.
• Write and debug Siemens PLC code with maintainability for high-volume manufacturing.
• Follow internal standards for control architectures, regulatory compliance, and safety buyoffs.
• Integrate FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures.
• Install, configure, and tune servo drives / VFDs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and drive improvements.
