Job summary

SoftWear Automation, Inc. is seeking an Engineer – Controls Systems to design, program, and validate real-time automation solutions from plant floors to enterprise systems.

You will work across PLC, HMI, SCADA, networking, and data platforms, applying high-level programming with languages like C#, HTML5, Python and SQL. You’ll participate in system design, testing, documentation, commissioning, and continuous improvements, while mentoring teammates and embracing new technologies to enhance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years academic or working experience with listed technologies.
• Demonstrated interest and ability to program, especially text-based languages and OO concepts.
• Team player who learns quickly and applies knowledge to new projects.
• Strong problem-solving, self-starting, and pattern-recognition abilities.

Job Description Job Description Engineer – Controls Systems Job Description SWA’s Engineering team, you will be developing real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level, using a variety of programming, configuration, and design tools: PLC and PAC Programming, Operator Interface and HMI application design, SCADA design, Network design, Database design, Vision system design, Machine Safety system design, Motion control (Servo, NC, CNC), Information Solution design, MES design, ERP connector development, High-level software solution design (involving C#, HTML5, .NET, SQL, VB, VBA, and more). Qualifications

Demonstrated interest and ability to program, specifically text-based languages and object-oriented concepts. Works well in a team-oriented setting.
