Job summary
Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) Inc / Division of Arrow Group of Companies seeks an experienced Controls Engineer for an automotive manufacturing client. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and developing industrial automation and control systems, while mentoring Automation and Maintenance Technicians.
The position requires hands-on work with PLCs, robotics, HMIs, and industrial networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
- 2+ years of industrial controls experience in manufacturing.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.
- Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and automation equipment.
- Work with Fanuc robotics, vision systems, barcode readers, servo drives, VFDs, and I/O devices.
- Troubleshoot industrial networks including EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and Profinet.
- Design and develop control systems for process, utility, and safety-related equipment.
- Provide technical support and mentorship across maintenance and manufacturing teams.
