A leading engineering firm is seeking a Controls Engineer to provide diagnostic training and technical support across manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, along with 5-10 years of experience in industrial controls. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting systems, programming PLCs, and evaluating control designs. Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing controls.
Strong experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs specifically Allen Bradley.
Experience with HMI interfaces and programming.
Responsibilities
Provide controls and diagnostic training to technicians, electricians, and mechanics.
Support plant operations by troubleshooting and maintaining control and electronic systems.
Review and evaluate controls designs for new and existing equipment.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and analog I/O systems.
Support robotics, VFDs, valves, PID controls, and networked control systems.
Diagnose and calibrate process instruments and control systems.
Conduct functional testing and maintain accurate documentation.
Promote safe work practices and perform duties as assigned by the Senior Controls Engineer.
