Toyota Automated Logistics in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Controls Engineer to lead and support multiple controls projects within a dynamic team. Travel up to 50% may be required to support field installations and commissioning around the Midwest.

The role emphasizes PLC/HMI/SCADA work, panel design, and hands-on engineering with a focus on material handling systems. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years’ experience in PLC/HMI/SCADA, panel design, hands-on and mechanical capabilities, controls project managing.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
• Material Handling Integration experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.

• Conduct full scope of controls projects involving PLC/HMI or other technologies.
• Work within a team environment of project deliverables.
• Learn new technologies via in-house or external training.
• Develop processes to help support team growth.
