Job summary

Lexicon Solutions is seeking a Controls Engineer to sustain and optimize facilities control systems across a premier manufacturing environment, emphasizing PLCs, SCADA, and HVAC. You will support reliability, safety, and process quality with strong collaboration among maintenance, operations, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include leading capital projects, coordinating with vendors, and implementing corrective actions to enhance uptime and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant experience in facilities controls, PLCs, and HVAC systems.
• Experience with building management systems and safety-related controls.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns specifications and drawings for facilities systems; modifies for reliability and cost reductions.
• Liaisons with suppliers, vendors, production, and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Monitors facility systems usage; reports trends to cost centers and budget teams.
• Acts as Project Engineer/Manager for capital projects; handles scope, cost, and timelines.
• Evaluates control strategies and interfaces; plans upgrades with vendors/contractors.
