Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, test, program and commission controls systems for material handling projects. Locations include Indianapolis, IN; St Louis, MO; Grand Rapids, MI, with preference for candidates in these areas and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; MS preferred for advanced roles.
• 5+ years in PLC/HMI/SCADA, panel design, hands-on and project management.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
• Material Handling Integration experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
• Employees must follow security policies and report incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead full controls projects involving PLC/HMI and related tech.
• Work within a project team to meet deliverables.
• Learn new technologies via in-house or external training.
• Develop processes to support team growth.
• Deliver projects meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide technical assistance.
• Establish relations with suppliers and support solutions.
• Develop new controls techniques to keep Toyota Automated Logistics leadership.
