Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in controls engineering for multi-project environments.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and control system design.
• Ability to coordinate with PMs, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop controls-related drawings for customer approval and maintenance manuals.
• Develop control logic to operate mechanical components and interface with software.
• Develop and implement PLC software (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
• Track materials and services for project responsibilities.
• Direct/coordinate activities of employees, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain the project schedule for assigned responsibilities.
• Evaluate issues and assist with mitigation actions.
• Provide budget records and inform PM on a timely basis.
• Assist in estimating controls-related costs and schedule.
• Assist PM in preparing accurate Change Orders.
• Travel for project meetings, implementation, coordination, and commissioning.
• Execute controls and software portions of commissioning and acceptance tests.
• Provide information for spare parts lists and maintenance manuals.
