Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in manufacturing controls, electrical, instrumentation, or automation.
- Ability to read electrical and control schematics and interpret industrial systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and support others with varying experience levels.
- Willingness to support off-shift or weekend needs for 24-hour operation.
Responsibilities
- Provide tactical support to improve equipment reliability and safety.
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, PLC, HMI, VFD, and network issues.
- Contribute to strategic improvements using controls tech to reduce losses.
- Support electrical safety inspections and compliant practices.
- Maintain and improve site electrical and controls architecture.
- Assist capital projects as the electrical and controls expert.
- Build relationships with operations, maintenance, and vendors.
- Coach electricians and technicians to boost site capability.
- Manage spare parts and storeroom inventory.
